The Indian Premier League 2019 RCB( Royal Challengers Bangalore) have secured the service of Kings XI Punjab’s all rounder Marcus Stoinis for upcoming seasons of IPL. RCB has Marcus in return of Bangalore’s Mandeep singh to Kings XI Punjab.
Royal challengers Bangalore has bought Marcus Stoinis in last auction for a amount of ₹ 6.2 Crore, while in 2015 Kings XI Punjab had signed Stoinis INR. 5.5 million. Stoinis spent 3 seasons with 19 matches and scored 262 runs with picking up 13 wickets.
On the other hand Mandeep Singh return to Kings XI Punjab after 3 seasons coping with RCB, In 2010, making his debut with KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders), Mandeep Singh scored 432 runs from 16 matches including 2 half centuries, He was also the winner of Rising Star Of the Tournament Award.
Meanwhile Mike Hesson replace Brad Hodge as the coach of Kings XI Punjab according to latest reports, in fact Kings XI Punjab Was also in talk with Shikhar Dhawan. Punjab was ready to increase Dhawan’s price by INR. 1 Crore and was looking to trade him in place of karun Nair. Mumbai Mirror also claims that Mike Hesson has replaced Brad Hodge as Kings XI Punjab’s coach. He has previously served as the head coach of the New Zealand national team.
Earlier, in the trade window, Mumbai Indians released Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman and Sri Lankan spinner Akila Dananjaya.However, it will be interesting to see how KXIP will slot Mandeep in the playing XI with the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Mayank Agarwal and Karun Nair in their ranks.
