The new signings have helped Liverpool made a superb start to the 2018-19 campaign and Klopp side sit joint top ahead of this weekend round of fixtures.
Jürgen Klopp believes that his squad is therefore sufficiently stocked to last the season – barring any unexpected circumstances in the next few months.
Manager said that, “If crazy things happen then maybe we have to think new but I don’t expect that. At the moment it doesn’t look like we will be too busy but it all depends on injuries and things like that. In the moment we have each position twice, three times and sometimes four times covered. I don’t think there is any reason to try to do something really big like bring in another striker.”
It’s probably safe to say that Liverpool fans aren’t overly upset about Jurgen Klopp’s fitness update on Jordan Henderson.
On Friday, the Liverpool manager ruled Henderson out of this evening’s trip to inform Arsenal.
The 28-year-old, a £20 million signing from Sunderland in 2011, has missed the Reds last two games with a hamstring injury and the trip to North London comes too soon for him.
